We are still in need of families willing to participate in our anuual Truck or Treat Event next Thursday, 10/23, from 5:00-6:30 pm. Please contact the office at 712-279-6839 if you are willing to bring candy and hand it out to our trick or treaters! If it is a nice evening, we ususally anticipate between 400-500 children! Thank you!

Good Morning Unity Families! Unity's annual Trunk or Treat Event will be held on Thursday, October 23rd, from 5:00-6:30 pm. If you are willing to donate candy, or hand out candy from the trunk of your own vehicle, please contact the main office at 712-279-6839. We will need a minimum of 25 vehicles participating or we may have to cancel this event. Thank you so much for your participation in this popular annual event!
Good Morning Unity Families! Please check your child's backpack today! The Sticky Stuff Fundraiser has begun! All orders will be due on Monday, Oct. 20th, and the goods will be delivered here to Unity on Monday, November 3rd. All money is due at the time the order is placed. Please make checks payable to Unity Elementary. The top selling boy and girl in K-2 and the top selling boy and girl in 3-5 will win an Electric Scooter and a helmet! Also, the top selling classroom will win a Pizza Party!

Parents/Guardians, please check your student's backpacks tonight! Some of you will be receiving a Home Income Survey and/or a Strengths and Needs Screener Consent Form. These are forms that we must receive from each of our Unity Students! Most of you that attended Back to School Night were able to fill out these forms at that time. However, if your student has one in their backpack, it means that we DO NOT have one filled out for you. Please take a few moments to fill these out tonight and return them with your student tomorrow! Thank you!

Also, don't forget that there is NO SCHOOL for staff or students on Monday, September 1st, in honor of Labor Day. Have a safe and wonderful holiday weekend!

Due to the rain forecasted for tomorrow, Field Day for all students is being postponed until Thursday of this week. Students will be spending 2 hours outside on that day so please dress your students appropriately! Temps will be between 43-62. Grade PK-1 will be from 9:00 - 11:10, and Grades 2-5 will be from 1:00-3:10.
