Student medication + supplies will be sent home with your child on the last day of school. If you would like to make other arrangements, please contact the school office before the last day. Unused medication that remains at school will be disposed of.

Just a quick heads up: Tomorrow, May 7th, there's no school for kindergarten and TK (transitional kindergarten) students due to registration.
Classes will resume on Wednesday, May 8th.

The final production of the 4th and 5th Grade Musical, The Aristocats, will be tomorrow, Friday, 5/3, at 2:00 pm. Tickets are $4 for Adults and $1 for Students. Children Ages 3 and under are free. Please plan to arrive early to get checked in for a visitors pass and to purchase tickets.
The 4th and 5th graders at Unity will be having two performances of the musical, Disney’s Aristocats Kids for parents and families to attend. The Wednesday, May 1st performance will be at 4:30 p.m. after school. Students who plan to stay after school to participate in this performance must have a permission slip signed and a ride arranged for 5:30 pickup after the performance. The Friday, May 3rd performance will be during the school day at 2:00 p.m. All 4th and 5th grade students will participate as either background singers or as a part of the cast. Tickets are $4 for Adults, and $1 for Children (3 and under are free). Tickets will be available for purchase in the office starting tomorrow 4/25
Good Afternoon Unity families, due to the impending weather, the Family Fun Night for the 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders and their families, sponsored by the Title 1 Team, that was scheduled tonight at 6:00 pm has been cancelled. We will notify you when and if it is rescheduled.
Due to the weather and tornado watch, all district activities and events have been canceled this evening. This includes Beyond the Bell, practices and rehearsals, and night school. Thank you.
The ISASP (Iowa Statewide Assessment of Student Progress) testing window for ALL 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students is from Tuesday, April 23rd - Wednesday, May 1st. It is VERY important that ALL 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students be in attendance during this testing window. Make sure your student is well rested, well fed, and on time for ISASP testing. Your cooperation is appreciated.

This is just a reminder that there will be a 2 hour early out tomorrow, Tuesday, 3/26, at 1:30 pm for the start of our Spring Break. There will be NO SCHOOL from Wednesday, 3/27 through Monday, April 1. School for all students will resume on Tuesday, April 2nd
Spring break begins this week!
There will be No Tutoring tomorrow, Tuesday 3/12, due to Parent/Teacher Conferences.
Also, ALL TUTORING for this school year will end on Thursday, March 21st. There will be NO TUTORING in April or May.
The 1st and 3rd Grade Chorus Concerts and the 5th Grade Band Concert have been rescheduled for Friday, March 8th. The First Grade concert will start promptly at 1:45 and the Third Grade concert will start promptly at 2:30. The 5th Grade Band Concert will start promptly at 2:15 and last 15 minutes.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the first and third grade chorus concerts, as well as the 5th grade band concert, that were scheduled for tomorrow, Friday, 2/23, have been postponed. We will send out another update as soon as a new day and time have been scheduled. Thank you for your support!
